We are a student movement.

 

Founded in 2013, the Global Health Association is open to all students, regardless of year, major, or experience. We recognize that medicine not only involves doctors and pharmacists, but also journalists, engineers, economists, and people of many other disciplines. Every person brings a different perspective to current health issues.

 

The long-term goal of the CSULA Global Health Association is to to facilitate collaboration between disciplines in order to promote global health. We explore widespread diseases and health crises and discuss possible solutions, both medical and social. We also seek to support the community through community service and education.

 

Over the coming year, we will host several speakers on global health-related topics and will also engage in volunteering and community service activities. As a member, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the local and global community and meet other CSULA students. We look forward to meeting fellow students interested in global health!
